To check the router's working status or configure certain advanced network functions, use the web-based configuration utility. To log in to the web-based configuration utility: Step 1 Set the network connection of your computer to obtain an IP address automatically. By default, the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) function is enabled. The router then assigns an IP address to your computer automatically.  The configuration procedure on the computer running the Windows 7 operating system is as follows: 1. Choose start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. 2. Right-click Local Area Connection and choose Properties. 3. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). 3-1

3.1 Logging In to the Web-based Configuration Utility
Most of the router parameters are pre-set before delivery to meet common home
application scenarios. To check the router's working status or configure certain advanced
network functions, use the web-based configuration utility.
To log in to the web-based configuration utility:
Step 1
