OPERATION 6. Move the throttle to the middle position. 7. If the engine is cold, the choke control should be pulled fully up. WARNING! Engine exhaust and certain vehicle components contain or emit chemicals considered to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive system damage. The engine exhaust contains carbon monoxide, which is an odorless, colorless, poisonous gas. Do not use the machine in enclosed spaces. Set the throttle and choke 8. Open the fuel tank valve for the selected tank. 9. Press in and turn the ignition key to the start position. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Do not run the starter for more than 5 seconds each time. If the engine does not start, wait about 10 seconds before retrying. Fuel tank valve OPEN 10. When the engine starts, immediately release the ignition key back to the run position. 11. Push the choke control in gradually when the engine has started. 12. Set the desired engine speed with the throttle.
