Using your camera with a Wi-Fi wireless network Setting up a network profile When you connect to a secure network, designated by a padlock, , or if you connect to an any network more than once, a profile containing the network settings is stored on your camera. Depending on the network settings, you may need to create a network profile to connect to it. For example, if the network is not broadcasting it's SSID, or network name, the network does not appear as an available network on your camera. However, if you know the SSID and other information about the network, you can manually create a profile which will allow your camera to connect: 1 In View , press the Menu button, then select Setup. 2 Select Wireless . 3 Select Profiled Networks. 4 Select Add Network Profile. 5 Select and change settings to match the network you want to connect to. Setting up a network profile
When you connect to a secure network, designated by a padlock,
, or if you
connect to an any network more than once, a profile containing the network settings
is stored on your camera. Depending on the network settings, you may need to create
a network profile to connect to it.
For example, if the network is not broadcasting it’s SSID, or network name, the
network does not appear as an available network on your camera. However, if you
know the SSID and other information about the network, you can manually create a
profile which will allow your camera to connect:
