Useful transmission functions 6 6.15 Sending the fax after reconfirming the destination (Destination Check Display Function) Destination Check Display Function After pressing [Start] key on completion of destination specification, the destination list screen is displayed with the number of destinations. As the fax is sent after reconfirming the destination, misdirected transmission due to the mistake in the destination can be prevented. 2 Reminder [Destination Check Display Function] must be set to [ON] to use the Destination Check Display Function. For details, refer to "Specifying Function ON/OFF Settings (Function ON/OFF Setting)" on page 9-82. Sending a fax after reconfirming the destination 1 Press [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax/Scan screen. 2 Load the original. - For details on loading originals, refer to "Loading the original" on page 2-13. 3 If necessary, set [Scan settings], [Original Settings] and [Communica- tion settings]. - For details on Scan Settings, refer to "Specifying the scan conditions" on page 2-20 or "Scan Settings" on page 6-2. - For details on Original Settings, refer to "Original Settings" on page 6-4. - For details on Communication Settings, refer to "Communication Settings" on page 6-5. 4 Specify the destination. - For details regarding specifying destinations, refer to "Specifying only one destination" on page 2-24 and "Specifying multiple destinations (broadcast transmission)" on page 2-37.
