FIERY SYSTEM 8e - Quick reference FIERY SYSTEM 8e RELEASE 2 FEATURE NAME PDF-X Objects in a per job basis Fiery System 8e New & Enhanced Features, Advantages & Benefits Standard Features KEY FUNCTIONS & FEATURES • The ability to utilize X-Objects and optimize a PDF job can be applied on a job-by-job basis. • The feature can be enabled at the CWS through Job Properties or at a client through Hot Folders. • Provides the option to enhance productivity by selectively allowing the optimization of a PDF job. • Users can choose not to utilize PDF X-Object caching when its use can affect processing performance or when it is not needed; for example, when large X-Objects are only used once in a PDF. FIERY ADVANTAGE • Reinforces Fiery positioning as the fastest RIP in the industry. CUSTOMER BENEFITS • Increases Fiery throughput by reducing the need to re-RIP the same image in the same file. • Improves PDF workflow by successfully rendering PDF files containing XObjects.
