14. Install the heat sink and fan assembly on the system board. 15. Connect the heat sink and fan assembly cable to the system board. Replacing a memory module Attention Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the "Important safety information" in the ThinkCentre Safety and Warranty Guide that came with your computer. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 69. Note: For this procedure, it helps to lay the computer on its side. 2. Locate the memory module connectors. See "System board connectors" on page 68. 3. Open the retaining clips. If you are replacing an old memory module, open the retaining clips and remove the memory module being replaced as shown.
