This topic provides instructions on how to install or replace a 2.5-inch drive cage (hereafter referred to as the drive cage). The drive cage enables 2.5-inch SATA drives to be connected to SAS connectors on the backplane. To install or replace a drive cage, do the following: 1. Disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the storage array. 2.
