Number keys 1 through 0 represent temperatures. Use the following chart as a guide. Number Keypad Oven Temperature 1 170°F (77°C) 2 200°F (93°C) 3 225°F (107°C) 4 250°F (121°C) 5 300°F (149°C) 6 325°F (163°C) 7 350°F (177°C) 8 375°F (191°C) 9 400°F (204°C) 0 450°F (232°C) To Change Temperature: 1. Press the number keypad for the desired temperature from the chart. 2. Press START. NOTE: On double ovens, the temperature of both ovens will change to the new setting if both ovens are operating in Sabbath Mode. Demo Mode The Demo Mode is intended for sales floor demonstrations. It should be Off for normal operation. While Demo Mode is active, the oven will not heat. To switch off Demo Mode: 1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Demo Mode appears. Press the quickset pad below Demo Mode. 2. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the Settings Menu. Service Information 1. Press SETTINGS, then press the right arrow key until Service Info appears. Press the quickset pad below Service Info. 2. Press the quickset pad below Ok. This will return you to the Settings Menu. Oven Calibration 1. From the Settings menu, press the right arrow key until Oven Calibration appears. Press the quickset pad below Oven Calibration. 2. Press the quickset pad below Oven Calibration. 3. On double models, press the quickset pad below Upper or Lower to choose the oven cavity to be checked or calibrated. 4. Use the left or right arrow keys to adjust the calibration of the oven until the desired temperature offset is highlighted. 5. Press the quickset pad below Ok. 6. Press START. Restore Default Settings 1. From the Settings menu, press the right arrow key until Restore Default Settings appears. Press the quickset pad below Restore Default Settings. 2. Press the quickset pad below Restore. 3. The following settings will be lost: Language, Temperature Units, Clock Settings and Brightness. The Welcome Guide will appear. Kitchen Timer This is an independent timer not associated with the cook timers. 1. Press KITCHEN TIMER at any time. 2. Enter the desired time (00:00:00) using the number keypad or right and left arrow keys. 3. Press the quickset pad below Cancel to cancel the function, or press the quickset pad below Start Timer. 4. While the Kitchen Timer is running, the timer is minimized to the bar at the bottom of the screen. 5. If Kitchen Timer is pressed, the timer is canceled and the panel is closed. 6. When the Kitchen Timer is complete, the oven will sound an alert tone. 7. When time expires, it is possible to add extra time by pressing the quickset pad below Add Time or to cancel the function by pressing the quickset below Ok. 8. To add more time, use the number keypad. 9. Press the quickset pad below Start Timer. OVEN USE Odors and smoke are normal when the oven is used the first few times, or when it is heavily soiled. During oven use, the heating elements will not remain on, but will cycle on and off throughout oven operation. IMPORTANT: The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off. Exposure to the fumes may result in death to certain birds. Always move birds to another closed and wellventilated room. Aluminum Foil IMPORTANT: To avoid permanent damage to the oven bottom finish, do not line the oven bottom with any type of foil or liner. ■ For best cooking results, do not cover entire rack with foil because air must be able to move freely. ■ To catch spills, place foil on rack below dish. Make sure foil is at least ½" (1.3 cm) larger than the dish and that it is turned up at the edges. 9
