7. Maintenance 3. Use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum all the dust inside. Get rid of dust in the accordion filter NOTE: • Whenever you vacuum the filter, use the soft brush attachment to vacuum. This is to avoid damage to the filter. • Do not wash the filter with water. Doing so can result in filter clogging. 4. Put the filters back into place The filter cannot be inserted from the outside. Insert the filter with "↓ AIR FLOW ↓" facing the projector. 5. Put the filter cover back to the projector cabinet. Insert the catches on the top and bottom of the filter cover into the grooves in the projector, then press the top and bottom buttons to close. • Push the filter cover until it clicks into place. Catches Buttons 6. Clear the filter usage hours: Plug the power cord into the wall outlet, turn on the main power switch, and then turn on the projector. From the menu, select [RESET] → [CLEAR FILTER HOURS].and reset the filter usage hours. (→ page 130) 172

3.฀ Use฀a฀vacuum฀cleaner฀to฀vacuum฀all฀the฀dust฀inside.
Get฀rid฀of฀dust฀in฀the฀accordion฀±lter
NOTE:
•฀ Whenever฀you฀vacuum฀the฀Flter,฀use฀the฀soft฀brush฀attachment฀to฀vacuum.฀This฀is฀to฀avoid฀damage฀to฀the฀Flter.
•฀ Do฀not฀wash฀the฀Flter฀with฀water.฀Doing฀so฀can฀result฀in฀Flter฀clogging.
4.฀ Put฀the฀±lters฀back฀into฀place
The filter cannot be inserted from the outside.
Insert฀the฀±lter฀with฀“
฀AIR฀FLOW฀
” facing the projector.
5.฀ Put฀the฀±lter฀cover฀back฀to฀the฀projector฀cabinet.
Insert฀the฀catches฀on฀the฀top฀and฀bottom฀of฀the฀±lter฀cover฀into฀the฀grooves฀in฀the฀projector,฀then฀press฀the฀top฀and฀
bottom buttons to close.
•฀ Push฀the฀±lter฀cover฀until฀it฀clicks฀into฀place.
