13.6 13.6.1 User's manual maps + more Useful functions Navigating to a contact from the phone book You can also use the address of a contact in the phone book of the active telephone as a destination for the navigation system. 1. In the HANDSFREE MODULE window tap on Phone Book. 2. Select from the phone book the contact you want to navigate to. The SELECTED PHONE BOOK ENTRY window opens. It shows up to two addresses and up to four phone numbers which have been saved for the selected contact. 3. Tap on Start Navigation. If more than one address is available for the selected contact, all the addresses will be shown. ► Tap on the address to which you want to navigate. You can also select addresses from the phone book in the navigation software to act as destinations. For more details refer to the chapter "Imported Addresses from the phone book" on page 44. 13.6.2 Opening the mailbox You can read text messages from the mailbox of the active telephone. Note: The number of SMS that can be imported from the mobile phone is limited to 15. 1. In the HANDSFREE MODULE window, tap on Options > Text Inbox. The TEXT INBOX list opens. The entries are sorted in chronological order. The symbol to the right of each entry indicates whether the text message has been opened at least once: (Unopened text message) (Opened text message) 2. Tap on the entry you want. Note: The TEXT INBOX list is available to the hands-free module only for as long as the hands-free module is connected to the mobile phone. It is updated automatically each time it is opened. 13.7 Configuring the hands-free function The hands-free module contains a number of settings that can be individually configured. 13.6.1
Navigating to a contact from the phone book
You can also use the address of a contact in the phone book of the
active telephone as a destination for the navigation system.
1. In the

ANDSFREE

ODULE
window tap on Phone Book.

Select from the phone book the contact you want to navigate to.
The
S
ELECTED PHONE BOOK ENTRY
window opens. It shows up to
two addresses and up to four phone numbers which have been
saved for the selected contact.

Tap on Start Navigation.
If more than one address is available for the selected contact, all
the addresses will be shown.
Tap on the address to which you want to navigate.
You can also select addresses from the phone book in the navigation
