Body cap BF-1B and BF-1A Body Caps: The body cap keeps the mirror, viewfinder screen, and lowpass filter free of dust when a lens is not in place. The D3100 is equipped with an accessory terminal for Accessory terminal accessories MC-DC2 remote cords (0 78) and GP-1 GPS units (0 98), which connect with the 4 mark on the connector aligned with the 2 next to the accessory terminal (close the connector cover when the terminal is not in use). Approved Memory Cards The following SD memory cards have been tested and approved for use in the D3100. Cards with class 6 or faster write speeds are recommended for movie recording. Recording may end unexpectedly when cards with slower write speeds are used.
