Focus Auto focus (AF) 4 Focus The camera automatically focuses on the subject. 1 Position the AF target mark on the subject you want to focus on. Press the shutter button halfway. ● The focus is locked and the AF confirmation mark lights up (focus lock). ● A beep sound is output when the subject is in focus. The camera automatically focuses on the subject.

Position the AF target mark on the
subject you want to focus on. Press the
shutter button halfway.
The focus is locked and the AF confirmation
mark lights up (focus lock).
A beep sound is output when the subject is in
focus.

Press the shutter button all the way (fully).
A picture is taken.
The card access lamp blinks while the picture is being
stored on the card.

The AF confirmation mark blinks.
