Drive mode Eyepiece shutter When using the self-timer, close the eyepiece shutter to prevent light passing through the viewfinder. To close the shutter, turn the eyepiece shutter lever in the direction of the arrow. Note Eyepiece shutter lever ● Do not press the shutter button while standing in front of the camera; this could result in the subject being out of focus since focusing is performed when the shutter button is pressed halfway. Remote control shooting (with optional remote control) By using the optional remote control (RM-1), you can take a picture with yourself in it or a night scene without touching the camera. Eyepiece shutter
When using the self-timer, close the eyepiece shutter
to prevent light passing through the viewfinder. To
close the shutter, turn the eyepiece shutter lever in
the direction of the arrow.
Note
