Customizing the Record Mode You can change the resolution and compression combination corresponding to each record mode. The resolution and compression settings can be selected as shown in the table below. Record mode Resolution Compression TIFF 2560 × 1920 pixels (FULL) unchangeable 1:1 (not compressed) unchangeable SHQ 2560 × 1920 pixels (FULL) Approx. 1:2.7 1792 × 1344 pixels (HALF) Approx. 1:4 HQ 1280 × 960 pixels (SXGA) Approx. 1:8 1024 × 768 pixels (XGA) SQ 640 × 480 pixels (VGA) 7 2 3 4 1 Press the menu button . The menu is displayed on the monitor. 2 On the arrow pad, press or to move the green highlight to the quality mark . 3 On the arrow pad, press to move the green highlight to the record mode. 4 On the arrow pad, press or until the desired record mode is displayed. 5 On the arrow pad, press to move the green highlight to the resolution. 6 On the arrow pad, press or to select the desired resolution setting.
