The AF correct mark G in the viewfinder/monitor is blinking, or the picture is out of focus Set the focus mode switch to AF (© 28). In most cases, the camera focuses on the subject 2 automatically by half-pressing the shutter button. However, if the subject is difficult for the camera to focus on, the G mark blinks in the viewfinder and monitor. In that case, try the following methods: • Point the camera slightly away from the subject to shift the AF target mark in the viewfinder and half-press the shutter button again, or • Use manual focusing. When fully-pressing the shutter button with one stroke, taking the picture takes precedence over focusing even if the subject may not be completely focused. To completely focus the shot, half-press the shutter button to confirm the AF correct mark and then fully-press the shutter button. Set the focus mode switch to AF (
28). In most cases, the camera focuses on the subject
automatically by half-pressing the shutter button. However, if the subject is difficult for the camera to

mark blinks in the viewfinder and monitor. In that case, try the following methods:
