Customizing the settings/functions of your camera AEL/AFL mode You can use the AEL button to perform auto focus or metering operations instead of using the shutter button. You can use the button in the following ways. • When you want to focus on some subject and then change the composition of the photo. • When you want to set the exposure by metering an area different from where the camera is focused.
