Remote control shooting  TIPS The remote control lamp does not blink after the shutter button on the remote control is pressed J The transmitted signal may not be effective if the remote control receiver is exposed to powerful lighting. Move the remote control closer to the camera and press the shutter button on the remote control again. J The transmitted signal may not be effective if the remote control is too far from the camera. Move the remote control closer to the camera and press the shutter button on the remote control again. 3 J There is signal interference. Change the channel as described in the remote control's manual. Various shooting functions To cancel the remote control shooting mode: J The remote control shooting mode will not be canceled after shooting. Set to one of the other drive modes. To use the shutter button on the camera in the remote control shooting mode: J The shutter button on the camera still works even in the remote control shooting mode. x Notes • The shutter will not be released if the subject is not in focus. • Under bright light conditions, the remote control lamp may be difficult to see, making it hard to determine whether or not the picture has been taken. • Zoom is not available on the remote control. Bulb shooting on the remote control Set the mode dial to M, then set the shutter speed to [BULB]. Press the W button on the remote control to open the shutter. If 8 minutes elapse after pressing the W button, the shutter closes automatically. Press the T button to close the shutter. 63
