Connecting a Network Audio Player and an RI dock This is an example of connection using the Network Audio Player and Onkyo Dock. Note that when connecting a network audio player and an dock simultaneously, the feature will work with only one of the devices, so connect the cable to the device you have selected to be linked. Analog Connection Integrated Amplifier Digital Connection Integrated Amplifier R ---- L AUDIO OUT Network Audio Player, Digital Media Transport, Dock 1 Connect the audio pin cable to the LINE IN 3 jack. OPTICAL Network Audio Player, Digital Media Transport, Dock 1 Connect the optical digital cable to the OPTICAL D3 jack. Tip • An Onkyo Dock can be connected to the LINE IN 1/2/3/4 jack. However, when using the interlock function, be sure to connect the Onkyo Dock to the LINE IN 3 jack. • Refer to "Connecting with Onkyo RI Components" (Ä page 26) to use the RI dock function. Tip • An Onkyo Dock can be connected to the COAXIAL D1 or D2 jack or the OPTICAL D3 or D4 jack.
