Basic Operations Using the Function Menu The Function Menu is an expanded function of the setting menu that allows you to configure WHITE BALANCE, SYNCRO SCAN, SELF TIMER, I.EXPOSURE, and SKIN TONE DTL settings. 1 Press the FUNC/EXEC button while in CAMERA or PHOTO mode. The items that appear may vary depending on the mode and settings. 2 Select the left or right button of the cursor button, and press ENTER. 3 To change numerical values, press the up or down button of the cursor button to select the values, and then press ENTER. 4 Press the ENTER button when the item has been set. 5 Press the FUNC/EXEC button to close the Function Menu. ■ Operation in the thumbnail display screen (AVCHD mode only) Each press of the FUNC/EXEC button moves the cursor in the thumbnail display screen of PB mode. Operating menu Thumbnail Cursor moves. You can set the following items in the Function Menu. Initializing the menu settings You can return the setting values for each item to their factory default settings with the MENU INIT item in the setting menu OTHER FUNCTION screen. To initialize menu settings, set this item to YES, and then press the ENTER button. Setting values for the following items are not initialized. • Time code values • User information values • CLOCK SET and TIME ZONE • OPERATION TIME 41
