Step 2: Fax Configuration Scan to Fax enables users to scan documents to specified fax number(s) using a fax server, cloud fax service or IP network-connected fax/MFP. If necessary, see Scan to Fax Prerequisites. You can configure fax functionality from the adapter touch screen or Admin Tool. In the example below, settings are established from the touch screen. To enter fax settings, proceed as follows: 1. Ensure that Initial Configuration is complete. 2. Press Device Settings icon. 3. Enter Admin Password, and press [Login]. Note: This is the password you established during Initial Configuration. 4. Press [Fax Config]. 5. Enter Email domain for fax transmissions. 6. Enter Default Email Address. 7. Select [Use user's email address when available] or [Always use default sender email address]. 8. Press [Apply] > [Exit]. 9. Press [Yes]. Note: Press [No] if you wish to go back and edit settings.
