G. Firmware Update The KV-SSM100/KV-SS1100 firmware may periodically require updating, as adapter features and functions are enhanced. There are two ways to perform the update, via USB drive or the Admin Tool web page. You will need access to the update file, e.g., KV-SS1100_ update_ 1.1.1916.0.dsu. The update process does not affect saved settings, just updates the firmware to the latest build. Update via USB Drive: 1. Download update file to root of USB drive. 2. Insert USB drive into an open port on the adapter. 3. Press Device Settings icon. 4. Enter Admin Password, and press [Login]. 5. Press [Maintenance]. 6. Press [Check for USB update...]. 7. Review firmware details, and then press [Apply Update]. Please wait while system updates... Important: Do not remove Power cord during the update process. When update is complete, Main Menu displays... 8. Confirm that update was successful. Open Information screen (circled in screen above). 9. Touch display to exit screen and return to Main Menu. The KV±SSM100/KV±SS1100 firmware may periodically require updating, as adapter features and functions are enhanced. There are
two ways to perform the update, via USB drive or the Admin Tool web page. You will need access to the update file, e.g.,
KV-SS1100_

Update via USB Drive:
