Listening to messages When new messages have been recorded: - The MESSAGE indicator on the base unit will flash. - The message indicator on the handset will flash slowly if the message alert feature is turned on (page 53). The base unit display will show the number of messages (old and new) recorded by the answering system. Example: The total number of recorded messages is 10. Listening to messages using the base unit {ERASE} {} MESSAGE indicator {MESSAGE} {STOP} {} Press {MESSAGE}. L The unit will announce the number of new messages and will play back the new messages. L When you have no new messages, the unit will announce "No new messages. All message playback", and will play back all messages.
