Power ON / OFF Turning the Power ON and OFF Always be sure to follow the procedure given below to turn the projection display power ON and OFF. • The lamp cooling fan will continue to operate for approximately 1 minute after the power is turned off. At the same time, the POWER indicator will blink Red. Do not disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and do not open any circuit breakers while the cooling fan is still operating. Do not disconnect the power cord from the power outlet while the power indicator blinks Red. POWER button/ POWER indicator Power ON Press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the power on. The Power Indicator will become Green and blink for approximately 10 seconds, and then turn solid Green. Basic Operation Power OFF Press the POWER button on the projection display or the remote control to turn the power off. Confirming message will appear. POWER OFF YES NO Press the POWER button again. If the POWER button is accidentally pressed, select NO with the , buttons, then press the ACTION button. The Power Indicator will become Red and blink for approximately 1 minute, and then turn solid Red. Note: When the AC Cord is unplugged, the internal cooling fan stops operating. In this case, the lamp will be insufficiently cooled and will take a while to turn ON again. The Power Indicator LED ACTION Red Red blink Green Green blink Power - OFF (Standby mode) Power - OFF (Now cooling) Power - ON Power - ON (Preparing to light lamp) Notes: • If the POWER button is accidentally turned off during use, after power is turned back on, it may take a short period before the lamp automatically comes on. • After the unit is turned on, maximum picture brightness will be achieved in 5-10 minutes.
