Cleaning the Air Filter The Air Filter should be cleaned about every 400 hours. 1 When the accumulated operating time reaches 400 hours, the screen on the right will be displayed for 5 minutes. When this happens, please follow the instructions and clean the air filter. This is very important! 2 Turn the POWER button to OFF. Wait until the cooling fan stops and the POWER indicator turns solid red. 3 Remove the right Speaker cover. Place your fingertips under the Speaker cover and pull it from the Projection display. CAUTION: Please be very careful not to damage or rip the filter material. Operating Projection display with torn or damaged Filter may cause damage to Projection display. 5 Replace the Speaker cover. • Operating this unit without the air filter installed will result in dust or dirt being drawn into the LCD projection display assembly. Visibly, the picture will be degraded. If the dust cannot be removed by cleaning, it is time to replace the air filter. 6 This screen appears when Projection display is turned on. If cleaning is done, select YES. Press to select NO or YES. CAUTION: Press to set. Please do not operate without the air filter. Serious damage will occur. Cleaning the Air Filter
The Air Filter should be cleaned about every 400 hours.
Turn the POWER button to OFF.
Wait until the cooling fan stops and the POWER indicator
turns solid red.
Remove the right Speaker cover.
Place your fingertips under the Speaker cover and pull it
from the Projection display.

Operating this unit without the air filter installed will

Clean the Filter.
Gently remove any accumulated dust from Air Filter unit
with your vacuum cleaner.
Replace the Speaker cover.
If the dust cannot be removed by cleaning, it is time to
replace the air filter.
