To cancel a Timer Recording in progress... Hold down STOP in VCR mode for a few seconds to cancel the Timer Recording. (The "TIMER" Indicator goes out on Multi Function Display.) • Any future daily or weekly recording will be performed as programmed. 4 Press PROG to end the programming. Notes • If you are using a Cable Box, the VCR's channel for Timer Recording must be set to the Cable Box input channel and Cable Box must be manually set to the desired channel. Cable Box power must be left on. • 2 minutes before Timer Recording is performed, "PLEASE PREPARE FOR TIMER REC" appears and Timer Indicator flashes. Be sure a cassette with record tab is loaded and DECK is in Stop mode. • If a power interruption occurs while programming the timer, the timer program(s) may be canceled. If "TIMER PROGRAMS WERE LOST DUE TO POWER INTERRUPTION" appears on-screen, please re-enter the timer programs. • If the start time for Timer Recording comes up during recording and playing back, Timer Recording will not be performed. Notes
