Installation and Setup Panafax Desktop For Local Connected Models Panafax Desktop uses the fax modem in the Panasonic/Panafax models connected with your computer by parallel cable. Before using the Panafax Desktop, it is necessary to activate the Fax Modem and to setup certain parameters. Follow the steps below to setup the Panafax Desktop. Device Setting Special settings are not necessary for the sending fax. If you wish to receive a fax, change parameter No. 63 (PC-FAX RCV MODE = Print/Upload & Print/Upload) to "Upload & Print" or "Upload" Installation During the installation step (see page 42), select the type of the Panafax Desktop configuration either Standalone/Server or Client. Panafax Desktop uses the fax modem in the Panasonic/Panafax models connected with your computer by

Before using the Panafax Desktop, it is necessary to activate the Fax Modem and to setup certain
parameters. Follow the steps below to setup the Panafax Desktop.
Device Setting
Special settings are not necessary for the sending fax.
If you wish to receive a fax, change parameter No. 63 (PC-FAX RCV MODE = Print/Upload & Print/Upload)
to "Upload & Print" or "Upload"
Installation
During the installation step (see page 42), select the type of the Panafax Desktop configuration either
