Select the proper thread sizes and needles trom this chart. The same size threads should be used in the needle and on the bobbin. Some experienced seamstresses prefer a somewhat thinner bobbin thread. However, the bobbin thread never should be thicker than the needle thread. For embroidery and darning work, a No. 50 thread should normally be used. 14
