Section 03 Operating this unit FLAT Flat SUPER BASS Super bass ! CUSTOM is an adjusted equalizer curve that you create. If you make adjustments to an equalizer curve, the equalizer curve setting is memorized in CUSTOM. ! When FLAT is selected, no supplement or correction is made to the sound. This is useful to check the effect of the equalizer curves by switching alternatively between FLAT and a set equalizer curve. % Press EQ to select the equalizer. Press EQ repeatedly to switch between the following equalizers: POWERFUL-NATURAL-VOCAL-CUSTOM -FLAT-SUPER BASS Adjusting equalizer curves You can adjust the center frequency and the Q factor (curve characteristics) of each currently selected curve band (LOW/MID/HIGH). ! The actual range of the adjustments are dif- ferent depending on which equalizer curve is selected. Low: 40Hz-80Hz-100Hz-160Hz Mid: 200Hz-500Hz-1kHz-2kHz High: 3.15kHz-8kHz-10kHz-12.5kHz 5 Touch c or d next to Q.FACTOR to select the Q factor. 2W-1W-1N-2N 6 Touch a or b to adjust the level of the equalizer band. +12dB to -12dB is displayed as the level is increased or decreased. # You can then select another band and adjust the level. Adjusting loudness Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the low- and high-sound ranges at low volume. 1 Touch LOUDNESS on the audio function menu. 2 Touch d to turn loudness on. # To turn loudness off, touch c. 3 Touch c or d to select a desired level.
