Additional Information Appendix Additional Information ! This unit plays back files with the filename extension (.mp3) as an MP3 file. To prevent noise and malfunctions, do not use this extension for files other than MP3 files. About folders and MP3 files ! An outline of a CD-ROM with MP3 files on it is shown below. Subfolders are shown as folders in the folder currently selected. ! It is not possible to check folders that do not include MP3 files. (These folders will be skipped without displaying the folder number.) ! MP3 files in up to 8 tiers of folders can be played back. However, there is a delay in the start of playback on discs with numerous tiers. For this reason we recommend creating discs with no more than 2 tiers. ! Using this unit in this condition may result in permanent damage to the system. ! Do not disassemble or modify this unit, as there are high-voltage components inside which may cause an electric shock. Be sure to consult your dealer or the nearest authorized PIONEER Service Station for internal inspection, adjustments or repairs. Handling the display ! When the display is subjected to direct sunlight for a long period of time, it will become very hot resulting in possible damage to the LCD screen.
