Various Types of Printing Storing the Print File Use this function to store a file in the machine, and then print it from the computer or the machine's control panel later. Limitation ❒ If data from PostScript3 printer driver is stored in the machine using [Store File], when printing from the machine, it is possible that the data will not print in the intended direction. For details, see PostScript3. A Display the data to be printed. B On the [File] menu, click [Print...]. 4 The [Print] dialog box appears. C From [Name:], select the printer. D Click [Properties]. The [Properties] dialog box appears. E In the [Job type:] menu on the [Print Settings] tab, select [Store File]. F If you want to set [User name:], [File name:],and [Password:], click [Details...]. The [Details...] dialog box appears. G Set [User name:], [File name:], and [Password:]. H Click [OK]. The screen returns to the [Properties] dialog box. I Click [OK].
