CHECKING THE REMAINING BATTERY PACK CHARGE HINT i If any data is present, you can also check the remaining battery pack charge on the Information Screen (page 119). i Battery life may differ even among battery packs of the same type. i Depending on the usage of the camera (such as the number of times the flash is used, the type of card, etc.) or the ambient temperature (temperatures below 10°C [50°F]) the number of images that can be saved on a fully charged battery pack will vary greatly. i It is recommended that you prepare an extra battery pack(s) when taking pictures at a wedding or while traveling, for example, so you don't miss capturing images of important moments due to the battery pack power running out. The same is recommended for taking photos in cold environments. (In a ski area, for example, the battery pack can be kept warm in your pocket until ready to use.) 147 English
