Putting into service 3 4 29065 1. Check to make sure that the transmitter and receiver are operating on the same frequency. 2. Switch on the transmitter and receiver (switch 6). Setting the AF output voltage/ squelch To avoid inadvertent misadjustment, the potentiometers for the AF output voltage and squelch (4 + 3) are covered by a panel. The potentiometers are set at the factory for the following values, which are those often used in practice: AF output voltage 1.5 V (at peak deviation) Squelch 1.5 fiV Should it become necessary to change these settings the plate can be removed after unscrewing two screws (see illustration). The special tool required for this purpose can be obtained under Order No. 29065 from your local Sennheiser authorized distributor. Important: Use only the enclosed plastic tool or a suitable screwdriver to make this adjustment, since you otherwise run the risk of turning the potentiometer shaft too far. 15
