Attaching the receiver Thanks to the compact dimensions, light weight and practical mounting clip the EK 2012 is equally suitable for attachment to a camera (ENG and EFP operation) and for applications where it is worn on the body as a monitor receiver. Attachment to the camera In many cases it will be possible to mount the receiver directly, using the clip alone. In other situations a special adapter will be required. Your authorized distributor can provide detailed information. Attaching the receiver to mixer boards or wearing on the body Velcro has proven to be a practical solution for attaching the unit to mixer boards, etc. The clip makes for simple attachment to clothing. In both cases the following must be observed: At greater distances between the transmitter and the receiver or where there are "shadows" due to crowds, the antenna (i. e. the receiver) should be installed at the highest possible point. The type A5 antenna headset is available for the EK 2012 TV for use in situations which preclude elevating the receiving antenna. 16
