Connectivity Internet security Your phone has support for both WAP and HTTP secure browsing. To activate a secure connection to the WAP gateway, you need to turn on security in your Internet profile. If your Internet profile is an HTTP profile, the connection will be secure if the URL starts with https://. Security for a connection between a WAP gateway and a WAP service provider is the responsibility of the WAP service provider. Trusted certificates To establish a secure connection when using certain Internet services, for example, banking, you need certificates in your phone. Trusted certificates are used to verify the WAP gateway or the HTTP server that you are connecting to. Your phone may already contain trusted certificates when you buy it. Synchronizing You can synchronize your phone contacts, appointments, tasks and notes with similar programs in, for example, a computer or mobile phone using Bluetooth, the infrared port or the USB cable (synchronization with nearby devices). Synchronization software for your computer is available on the CD that comes with the phone. You can also synchronize with programs on the Internet using WAP or HTTP (remote synchronization with Internet services). Trusted certificates
