While charging the battery pack, the CHARGE lamp flashes. • The battery pack is not properly installed. c Install it properly. • Something is wrong with the battery pack. c Contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility. The power goes off although the battery remaining indicator indicates that the battery pack has enough power to operate. • Charge the battery pack fully again so that the indication on the battery remaining indicator is correct. No function works though the power is on. When you set the POWER switch to VCR or OFF (CHG), if you move your camcorder, you may hear a clatter sound from inside your camcorder. • Disconnect the power cord of the AC power adaptor or remove the battery, then reconnect it in about one minute. Turn the power on. If the functions still do not work, open the LCD panel and press the RESET button under S VIDEO jack using a sharp-pointed object.
