Advanced Playback Operations - Advanced Playback Operations - Playing back a tape with picture effects During playback, you can process a scene using the picture effect functions: NEG. ART, SEPIA, B&W and SOLARIZE. (1) In the playback or playback pause mode, select the desired picture effect mode in in the menu settings (p. 84). Notes •You cannot process the picture that is input from other equipment using the picture effect function. •To record pictures that you have processed using the picture effect function, record the pictures on the VCR, using your camcorder as a player. Pictures processed by the picture effect function Pictures processed by the picture effect function are not output through the DV IN/ OUT jack. To cancel the picture effect function
Set P EFFECT to OFF in the menu settings.
Notes
•You cannot process the picture that is input from other equipment using the picture
effect function.
•To record pictures that you have processed using the picture effect function, record
the pictures on the VCR, using your camcorder as a player.
