Recording from Other Equipment, When the IC recorder is not in the, stop mode - cable

Various Recording Modes 2 Press  or  to select "MIC IN" and then press . 3 Speak into the external microphone and start recording. The built-in microphone is automatically cut off. If the input level is not strong enough, adjust the microphone sensitivity and/ or recording level on the IC recorder. When a plug in power type microphone is connected, power is automatically supplied to the microphone from the IC recorder. When the IC recorder is not in the stop mode Select "MIC IN" using the menu by selecting "DETAIL MENU" - "SELECT INPUT" - "MIC IN" (page 54).  Recommended microphones You can use the Sony ECM-CS10 or ECM-CZ10 electret condenser microphone (not supplied). Recording from Other Equipment Audio equipment, etc. 1 Connect other equipment to the IC recorder when the IC recorder is in the stop mode. Connect the audio output connector (stereo mini-plug) of other equipment to the  (microphone) jack of the IC recorder using an audio connecting cable*.
