Remote Control Button Descriptions Button Description 1 MUTING Press to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL+ to restore the sound. 2 FUNCTION button and indicators Press to have the remote control operate the equipment you want. Press repeatedly until the indicator of the desired equipment lights up. For details, see "Programming the Remote Control" on page 52. 3 PIC OFF Press to have the TV screen turn off. For details, see page 65. 4 SLEEP Press repeatedly until the TV displays the time in minutes (15, 30, 45, 60 or 90) that you want the TV to remain on before shutting off. To cancel Sleep Timer, press SLEEP repeatedly until SLEEP OFF appears. 5 GUIDE Press to display the digital program guide. If FUNCTION is switched on SAT/CABLE GUIDE* Press to display the program guide of your satellite program provider. 6 Use with 0-9 and ENTER buttons to select digital channels (for example, 2.1). For details on selecting digital channels, see page 68. 7 PICTURE Press repeatedly to cycle through the available video picture modes: Vivid, Standard, Pro. Also available in the Video Menu. For details, see "Selecting Video Options" on page 96. 8 WIDE Press repeatedly to step through the Wide Mode settings: Wide Zoom, Normal, Full, Zoom. Also available in the Screen menu. For details, see pages 59 and 101. 9 Press V v B b to move the on-screen cursor. To select an item, press .
