3 Slide the joint cover out to protect the mounting base of the display, then tighten the fixing screw  to secure the cover. Joint cover  Adjusting the display tilt and swivel angle After the display is installed, grip the correct parts of the display and adjust the display angle in the tilt and swivel directions. Where to place your hands when gripping the display: Front Rear   Notes • When adjusting the angle of the display, grip the top, left, or right side of the display with both hands as indicated by the shaded areas. • When adjusting the angle of the display, be careful not to get your fingers caught. Tighten the screw firmly. When you tighten a screw, be careful not to apply too much torque as doing so may damage the screw (the torque value should be from 1.5 N•m to 2.0 N•m). 4 Attach the rear panel covers  along the guides for protection.  • Do not adjust the display angle while driving. • Adjust the display angle so that the display does not obstruct moving parts of the vehicle such as the shift lever and steering wheel. Fuse replacement When replacing the fuse, be sure to Fuse (10 A) use one matching the amperage rating stated on the original fuse. If the fuse blows, check the power connection and replace the fuse. If the fuse blows again after replacement, there may be an internal malfunction. In such a case, consult your nearest Sony dealer. Notes • Be sure to use the specified screws. • If the display appears to rattle, tighten the screws periodically. 21EN
