Settings (continued) DSD digital filter This sets the type of digital filter used when converting DSD signals from digital to analog. *DSD D-FILTER > CUTOFF 150kHz CUTOFF 50kHz 50kHz cutoff frequency CUTOFF 150kHz 150kHz cutoff frequency Display brightness This sets the brightness of the display. oo Regardless of the brightness setting, however, error messages will always be shown at normal brightness. *DIMMER > DIMMER 3 Level meter operation This sets level meter brightness and turns operation on and off. *METER > DIM3 DIM3 Level meter brightness: bright Level meter operation: on DIM2 Level meter brightness: slightly dim Level meter operation: on DIM1 Level meter brightness: even dimmer Level meter operation: on DIM0 Level meter brightness: unlit Level meter operation: on OFF Level meter brightness: unlit Level meter operation: off DIMMER 3 Normal brightness DIMMER 2 Slightly dim DIMMER 1 Even dimmer DIMMER 0 Unlit oo The display stays unlit even when the unit is on. Automatic power saving function This unit has an automatic power saving function. oo The automatic power saving function is on when the unit is shipped new from the factory. *AUTO POWER SAVE > ON OFF The automatic power saving function is disabled. ON If no audio is played back for about 30 minutes, the unit will automatically enter standby mode. oo Even when audio is playing back, automatic power saving will also function if the VOLUME knob is set to a value at which sound cannot be heard. 26
