Date and time functions are not reset, but the time display will be reset. Formatting memory The Format function can be used to format the gigabeat® built-in flash memory. Formatting the gigabeat® memory will erase all data stored in the gigabeat®. Only the software used to run the gigabeat® is not erased. 1 Press and hold the Back button until the main menu is displayed (about 1 second). 2 Use the Up or Down button to select Settings.
