V Attach the front panel (E). The front panel attaches to the front end of the pedal box and side panels. Fit the front panel into position and eliminate any gaps between the front and side panels. Align the small hole in each six brackets and attach the front panel using the six 4 x 12 millimeter round-head screws 3. B Install the main unit (A). Rest the rear edge of the main unit (A) on the front edges of the cutouts in the side panels (B), then slide the main unit backward firmly until it stops (so that there is no clearance between the main unit side panels and the stand, as shown in illustration "a"). WATCH YOUR FINGERS WHILE DOING THIS!! There is slight horizontal play between the main unit and side panels, so center the main unit, as shown in illustration "b", then use the four 6 x 16 millimeter flat-head screws 5 to attach the main unit. Two screws can be attached from the front side and two screws from the rear. • Do not hold the keyboard in any position other than the position shown in the above illustration. • Fingers can become pinched between the main unit and the front or side panels, be extra careful so as not to drop the main unit. 50 CLP-880/860/840/820/820S
