In Brief 1-11 Passenger Sensing System The passenger airbag status indicator will be visible on the instrument panel when the vehicle is started. See Passenger Airbag Status Indicator on page 5‑18. 2. Press the arrows on the control pad to move the mirror up, down, right, or left. 3. Adjust each mirror so that a little of the vehicle and the area behind it can be seen. 4. Press (1) or (2) again to deselect the mirror. See Power Mirrors on page 2‑26. Mirror Adjustment Exterior United States Interior The vehicle has an automatic dimming inside rearview mirror. Automatic dimming reduces the glare of headlamps from behind you. The dimming feature comes on and the indicator light illuminates each time the vehicle is started. See Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror on page 2‑27. Controls for the outside power mirrors are on the driver door. To adjust each mirrors: 1. Press (1) or (2) to select the driver or passenger side mirror. Canada and Mexico The passenger sensing system turns off the front outboard passenger frontal airbag under certain conditions. No other airbag is affected by the passenger sensing system. See Passenger Sensing System on page 3‑26.
