Lighting The DRL system will make either the reduced intensity low-beam headlamps or dedicated DRLs come on when the following conditions are met: . 6-3 It is still daylight and the ignition is in ON/RUN or START. Automatic Headlamp System When it is dark enough outside, the automatic headlamp system turns on the headlamps at the normal brightness, along with the taillamps, sidemarker, parking lamps, and the instrument panel lights.
