3-4 Seats and Restraints Power Lumbar To adjust the seatback, see "Power Reclining Seatbacks" under Reclining Seatbacks on page 3‑4. Reclining Seatbacks { WARNING Sitting in a reclined position when the vehicle is in motion can be dangerous. Even when buckled up, the safety belts cannot do their job when reclined like this. The safety belt cannot properly restrain you, and you could be injured or killed. If available, press and hold the front or rear of the control to increase or decrease lumbar support. Release the control when the seatback reaches the desired level of lumbar support. For proper protection when the vehicle is in motion, have the seatback upright. Then sit well back in the seat and wear the safety belt properly. Lumbar Adjustment Manual Lumbar If available, the manual lumbar knob is on the outboard side of the driver seat. Turn the knob to increase or decrease lumbar support.
