7. From outside the the shoulder belt lap and shoulder safety seat in the vehicle, grasp and pull on portion of the combination belt that secures the child vehicle. See Figure 5. Tightening shoulder portion of belt 8. Forcibly tilt the child seat from side to side and tug the seat forward to ensure that the seat is held securely in place. See Figures 6 and 7.
