The Traction Control light will stay on for a minimum of four seconds. Traction Control Off Light This light comes on when the Traction Control system is not operating. In some conditions, you may want to turn Traction Control off, such as when rocking your vehicle out of deep snow or mud. Traction Control will automatically turn off to prevent the brakes from overheating. The system will turn back on once the brakes have cooled down. NOTE: If the TRAC OFF light is flashing repeatedly, it means that there is a Traction Control system malfunction and the system is inoperative. Contact your dealer for service as soon as possible. 26
