Interior Convenience Items Beverage Holders Be careful when you are using the beverage holders. A spilled liquid that is very hot can scald you or your passengers. Spilled liquids can also damage the upholstery, carpeting, and electrical components in the interior. On the U.S., LX, EX models and Canada LX and Si models, open the front beverage holder by pushing on the top. On the U.S., EX model, open the rear beverage holder by pushing on the back and pulling the holder all the way out. Open the glove box by squeezing the handle. Close it with a firm push. Glove Box Console Compartment LEVER CONSOLE COMPERTMENT On the U.S. LX, EX models and Canada LX and Si models To open the console compartment, pull the left lever and lift the lid. An open glove box can cause serious injury to your passenger in a crash, even if the passenger is wearing the seat belt. Always keep the glove box closed while driving. Instruments and Controls To close, lower the lid and push it down until it latches. 87
