Left Handlebar Switches
Light/Dimmer Switch:
The switch positions are identified on the housing.
Headlight and taillight goes on by turning the switch
to “LO” (low beam) or “HI” (high beam) with the ig-
nition key in the “ON” position.

Engine Stop Switch:
In addition to the ignition switch, the engine stop
switch must be in the “
” position for the engine
to operate.
If some emergency requires stopping
the engine, shift the engine stop switch to the “
position.
Although the engine stop switch stops the engine,
it does not turn off all the electrical circuits.
If the
engine stop switch is used, be sure to turn off the
ignition switch after stopping the vehicle.
Reverse Power Assist Switch (Override):
