MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 143 Parking Brake The parking brake helps hold the vehicle from rolling while parked. In accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart, have the parking brake pedal functions checked by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. Brake Light Switch Only the switch at the rear brake pedal can be adjusted. When the brake pedal is depressed, the brake light goes on. The brake light switch should be inspected in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. The brake light switches of the front brake lever and rear brake lever cannot be adjusted. ○Also if there is any doubt as to the condition or NOTE j braking effectiveness, have the parking brake system inspected by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
